Description: This 1991 Bollywood drama narrates the story of Maan Singh and Prithvi Singh's families who are locking horns over a property dispute. One day, the court gives out a verdict favouring Prithvi Singh which results in Maan Singh hiring a bandit, Panna Singh, to kill Prithvi Singh and his family. Panna manages to kill, but not all of them and goes into hiding inside a forest to escape the wrath of Prithvi Singh and is badly wounded. Meanwhile, Prithvi kills Maan Singh to avenge the death of his sister and other family members who were killed by Panna. In return, Prithvi Singh incurs the wrath of Maan Singh's brother, Suraj Singh, who is a police inspector. Soon, Prithvi goes into hiding and turns into a bandit named Daku Prithvi Singh. Years later, Akash, Suraj Singh's son, falls in love with Prithvi's daughter, Chanda. The rest of the plot narrates how the warring families discover Akash and Chanda's love affair and the repercussions thereafter. Starring Sunil Dutt, Salman Khan, Ayesha Jhulka, Kabir Bedi, Gulshan Grover, Rohini Hattangadi, Goga Kapoor, Bharat Kapoor, Kunika, and Sudha Chandran, the film is directed by Deepak Bahry and the music is composed by Anand-Milind.
