Why else would he, once again, release a statement from sources talking about Atal Bihari Vajpayee relations with Narendra Modi and his reaction to the Gujarat riots. Nitish Kumar has apparently said that Atal wanted Modi to resign. The JD9U) has already reacted strongly to statement made by Mohan Bhagwat of RSS on 'secular PM' for the NDA. It was the 'secular PM for NDA' comment made by Nitish Kumar that first started off this war of words. Modi has so far remained silent but, and so has the BJP.
