The CPM politburo will take a decision on what action should be taken against VS Achuthanandan by Sunday. The central committee, after a day-long debate on the Kerala crisis on Saturday, is now waiting for a conclusive advice from the politburo, before it makes public the final decision. VS alleged that State leadership had committed serious rightist deviations and his attempt was to point out these mistakes. Pinarayi Vijayan retaliated by saying that VS always pushed the party into deeper crisis whenever there was an attack against the party.
