A woman pro-Telangana activist who climbed atop a van to protest against YS Vijayamma's 'deeksha' at Sircilla was pushed down by an activist of the YSR Congress activist. Then as she fell, YSRC party men held her by her hair, kicked her, hit her punched, until police arrived to escort her to safety. The attack happened even as YSR Congress leaders are heard praising YS Vijayamma as a woman who is surrounded by a hostile political environment.
