The first train bringing people from Bangalore to Guwahati has reached its destination. The passengers seem relieved to be back in their home state. The mass exodus from India's metropolitan state's continue amidst rumours of a possible post-Ramzan ethnic clash between the Muslims and the North-Eastern people. A lot of these people claim to have been threatened. Despite assurances from the Prime Minister, the Home Minister and police officials, the massive exodus from Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai continues. Several special trains have been deployed in order to ensure their safe passage from the metropolitan cities to theie home states.
