Former Haryana Minister Gopal Kanda was arrested by the Delhi Police today. The ex-Minister surrendered at the Ashok Vihar police station in New Delhi, after dodging the cops for eleven days, but was arrested as soon as he stepped out of his car. The MDLR Chief has been arrested for abeting the suicide of his former colleague. The former Haryana Minister has also been charged with criminal intimidation. Geetika Sharma blamed the high-profile ex-Minister for her death in her suicide note. Six police teams had been unable to track down Gopal Kanda, who still maintains that he is innocent.
