Description:
MNS Chief Raj Thackeray's obnoxious brand of 'hate politics' has sparked a national outrage again. After his 'warning' to renowned singer Asha Bhonsle, the MNS Chief has now caused an uproar with an anti-Bihar rant. In his latest political polarising salvo, Raj Thackeray slams Indian icon Asha Bhonsle for associating with Pakistanis, while accusing Indians from UP and Bihar of being anti-national 'infiltrators'. In another case of the victim being victimised, a 12-year-old girl who was raped has been denied entry into her school. The girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by four upper caste boys and now a diktat from a local Panchayat has ensured that she is denied even her basic right to education. The village body claims, that the girl might spoil the other children in the school. Meanwhile, Headlines Today bags the top awards at the prestigious eNBA awards held in the national capital on Friday. Instituted in 2008 by a popular media website, the eNBA awards recognised Rahul Kanwal as the 'Best Anchor of the Year'. Headlines Today also won the 'Best News Coverage' award, the 'Best Current Affairs' programme award. Headlines Today correspondent Preeti Choudhry also bagged the Young Professional of the Year award.
