Description:
After the decision of TMC Chief Mamata Banerjee to withdraw their alliance from the UPA, six ministers from the TMC would be submitting their resignation to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today at 3 pm. Earlier, Mamata had expressed her displeasure in the diesel price hike and FDI in retail, and wanted the government to compromise to her wishes, but no steps were taken inspite of her 72-hour deadline. Now the question that arises is, will Mamata's decision weaken the government or would it be able to succumb without its most important allie ?
