20 percent of coal scam report changed: CBI

The CBI has agreed that changes were made to the report on the coal scandal. According to sources Law Minister Ashwani Kumar and the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) made changes that accounted for around 15 to 20 percent in the document.

According to sources, the report on the coal scandal was tampered with before it was released. Changes were allegedly made at two levels. First the Law Minister, Ashwani Kumar, made changes after which the PMO and the Coal Ministry also made changes.
