Kudumbasametham Manikutty is a story of two families: The Kurups and the Kumarans. The only thing common between the two families is their dislike for each other. Madhavakurup stays with his wife & daughter Manikutty. Kumaran also has a daughter, Susmitha. Susmitha and Manikutty work in the same office. They spread the family grudge at the workplace too. When millionaire Pavithran joins their office, the scene changes and both the families fight for Pavithran. Finally, Pavithran marries Manikutty and Kumaran marries off his daughter to another millionaire. The story takes a new turn when the parents-in-law come into the picture.
