Abhayahastam is a political show currently airing on TV1. The show is a dial-in programme for the ruiling party, Congress, to reach the public and answer their questions and queries about the decisions, ruiling, governance by Congress party. The guests appearingon the show are all Congress party members like Pushpa Leela, Dharma Sri, Shyam Mohan, and Feroz Khan. They talk about topics like Presidential elections, Andhra Chief Ministers touring the State, the functioning of the government, the dharnas and demands by the Opposition, rumours about the ruiling party, how is the party faring in the State and is it at a stand-still, and convincing the comman man that Congress is the right party to rule Andhra Pradesh.
