Nava Bharatam is a political programme currently airing on TV1. It is a dial-in programme that concentrates on the happenings in every nook and corner of the country. It tries to bring the leaders and people together by resolving issues bothering the common man. A special guest is called on the show, depending on the topic, and he tries to answer all the questions and queries put forward by the callers and also explain certain situations and points to the host as well. Some of the topics addressed on the show are conditions of farmers, elections, electricity issues and its effects on farmers, education system, illegal issuing of contracts, construction of schools etc.
