Purana Katha Kosha is a spiritual programme on Sri Sankara TV which gives a discourse on Puranas. In each episode of Purana Katha Kosha, Smt Vidushi Rathna Murthy explains the meaning and the morals behind the battles fought between asuras and devas, the Avatars (divine descents) of Lord Vishnu and genealogy of legendary kings. The aim of this programme is to enlighten the people of today with stories from Indian mythology which are not only relevant to today's generation but they also teach moral values and code of conduct. The stories are narrated in a manner that is not just informative but it might also make the viewer rethink and give a new perspective to life.
