We take you on a virtual pilgrimage to Sri Murugan Temple in Kundrathur, Tamil Nadu. This famous temple situated on top of a hillock, is dedicated to Lord Murugan. This is the only Murugan temple in Tamil Nadu where the deity is standing in a north-facing direction. This temple was constructed by King Kulothunga Chola - II. The specialty of this temple is that Lord Subramaniar is positioned in such a way that he can only be seen with one Goddess at a time even though there are three idols present. The Karthigai Deepam festival celebration is famous here.
