Thirumurai is a devotional music programme on Sri Sankara TV where tamil verses composed by Shaivite saints are rendered by Odhuvars in the glory of Lord Shiva. In each episode of Thirumurai Isai, Odhuvars render religious hymns and songs in the glory of Lord Shiva with an orchestral support. The Tamil verses of Thevaram and Thiruvasagam composed by the Shaivite saints, Appar, Sambandar, Sundarar, and Thirunaavukkarasar are sung by the Odhuvars who are trained and dedicated singers.
