Gurukulam is a devotional programme which brings to the the small screen the Gurukulam system of education which lost its presence many years ago. In each episode of Gurukulam, renownned guru Vidwan KL Srinivasan brings the back the nostalgia of Gurukulam system of education by guiding young children with proper articulation and recitation of slokas. The aim of this programme is to build a strong religious foundation in today's children with regards to learning Sanskrit slokas and hymns the right way and make an effort towards upholding the traditions of our country. This programme is for any young viewer with a keen interest in learning Sanskrit slokas and for adults who want a refreshers course in slokas.
